With the enforcement of quality standards in food, the use of antibiotics in aquaculture commodities began to be reduced. Alternative use of synthetic antibiotics are now turning to antibiotics made from herbs as more environmentally friendly. Generally herbal antibiotic derived from terrestrial plants, although there is also the use of herbs from the sea but still nets all. For on this engineering will use herbal antibiotic of red fruit extract materials in increasing the production of hybrid marine ornamental fish.

Engineering activities testing the use of extracts of red fruit (Pandanus conoideus) on maintenance ikanklown black hybrid photon (Amphiprionpercula var. Black photon) in the cage nets made to see the development of body color, growth and fish kelulusanhidup Klown black photon. In this activity used extracts of red fruit mixed with feed pellet with a single dose of 1 ml per 10 grams of feed pellets as treatment and without the use of a mixture of red fruit extract as a control.

During the activity showed the viability of ornamental fish nemo black hybrid photon treatment was 98% and 93% of control. The rate of growth of marine ornamental fish nemo long black hybrid photon at treatment ranged between 0520-1225% with an average of 0912% higher than the growth rate of the control length ranges between 0500-0975% with an average of 0763%, while the growth rate of fish weight nemo ornamental hybrid treatment ranged from 1.620 to 2.300% with an average of 1,757% and for control ranges from 1345 to 2200 with an average of 1.590%. Changes in body color of fish, fish in the treatment turns into brighter with the number of 30 individuals, or 61.22% of the total fish live, 7 tail or 14:28% pale and 12ekor 24.49% of the total fish life somewhat reddish color. While the fish are bright colors control only 17 tail or 42.5% of total fish live, pale 19 tail or 40.43% of the total fish life and colorful kemerahan11 or 23:40%.
