The succes of humpback grouper Cromileptes altivelis culture depends on some factors such as seed quality, feed quality and environmental condition. Regarding to the feed absorbtion, the effecteveness of difestive enzyme is very important for fish growth. The application of the digestive enzyme is to enhanch feed efficiency and survival rate of the fish. The objectives of the present study were to know the effect of digestive enzyme on survival rate (SR), growth rate (SR) and feed converstion ratio (FCR) of humpback grouper. The study was done from August to October 2015 in Main Center for Marine Aquaculture, Lampung. Fish was reared in 2 m³ volume of rectangular concret cement tank and stocking density was 100 fishes/m³. Animal was fed with formula feed and feeding frequencies was three times/day with dosage was 3 %/TBW/day. The were two treatments in this trial e.g; Formula feed plus digestive enzyme 5 g/kg of feed and without enzyme as control. Fish growth sampling was done for every two weeks as long as 2.5 months. The result showed that GR, SR and FCR for treatment A, respectively as 1.21%/TBW/day; 97.4% and 1.31; better then control (1.12%/TBW/day for GR; 95.5% for SR and 1.65 for FCR). This study suggested that digestive enzyme application for humpback grouper grow out is very useful.
