Combining efforts in program development and management of natural resources so as to create a sustainable development, the need for cultivation technology that supports these efforts. This study aims to describe clearly the potential of technology intensive pond where necessary for operational or business presence in achieving production targets ponds, profile examines aquaculture technology intensive cultivation in the PT. GGA in District Gantarang, Bulukumba.

Primary data collection techniques applied in this study is the observation that observation interviews with farmers through the submission of a questionnaire (questionnaire), which have been compiled in a structured.

            Secondary data were obtained from research reports and various institutions associated with the research. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. There are several reasons intensive cultivation technology conducted by PT. ARF may still exist existence, namely the availability of infrastructure which is adequate as the availability of electricity and access roads to the site of the pond; socio-economic aspects of society, and the legal aspects of intensive farming. It shows that the pond environmental conditions existing at the time the study took place, supporting the existence of intensive aquaculture in the study site.
