Aims to know the quality of karaginan content , gel strength , viscosity , and heavy metal seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii the results of tissue culture in cultivan with the methods longline .Seaweed the cultivation of each landscapes of for any rope ris taken at random (a part of the , central , and the end of a rope) to caraginan extracted content. Caragenan the extraction analyzed parameter gel strength and viscosity. Application testing focusing on the quality of rumpur the sea of namely caragenan content, gel strength, and viscosity.  Observation and data was undertaken by means of described .Results showing seaweed K alvarezii tissue culture origin Seameo Biotrop Bogor cultivated in waters Laguruda Takalar and in harvest 49 day containing levels karaginan ranged from 38,76-80,76% (the average 61,47%).  This outcome higher caraginan content than seaweed tissue culture in harvest 35 days in uj try planting first in the province of Lampung and in Gerupuk, Island Lombok the province of West Nusa Tenggara , each 44,1% and 40,27%. But, seaweed tissue culture generasi (III ) from BBPBL Lampung who tested in BPBAP Takalar , the womb Caragenan only 38,11%.   Differences caragenan levels allegedly still influenced by the characteristic of ecological each location whether it is factors physics , chemical factors , and other factors ecological.  One of viscosity that produced on seaweed the results of tissue culture ranged from 30,0-40,0 cps (on average 36,67 cps) is lower viscosity than seaweed tissue culture in harvest 35 days in uj try planting first in the province of Lampung ( 173,6 cps ) and from seaweed seeds graft (236,3 cps) (sulistiani et.al, 2012).  The viscosity meet the standard of caragenan issued by fao stated, of a minimum of 5 cps.  The heavy metals heavy Pb 0,311 ppm and Cd 0,049 ppm heavy dry that is in seaweed tissue culture the results of cultivation.
