THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT DOSES EGG PLANT RIMBANG IN FEED FOR REPRODUCTIVE PROCESSES INHIBIT TILAPIA

Research has been conducted in BPBAPUjung Batee, Jl. Malahayati, KM 16. This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of egg plant Rimbang in feed for tilapia reproduction process inhibits the development of spermatogenesis in male tilapia.

The experimental design used in this research is completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A (control), Treatment B (50 grams of egg plant Rimbang), and treatment C (100 grams egg plant Rimbang).

The results showed that the effect of various doses of eggplant Rimbangin feed to inhibit the reproduction process of tilapia did not significantly affect the survival rate, FCR, weight and length and the absolute index of gonad maturity. While in the process of spermatogenesis give effect positive trend in inhibiting testis cells microscopically tilapia.
