Genetic programs and improved farming result in faster growth and higher yields.Genetic company already success to develop breed with fast growth species in last decade. But unfortunately that fast growth did not follow by proper development in GIT organ. Gut capacity become less and less proportion to body weight. In this situation gut efficiency in digesting and absorbing nutrients become very important. Gut integrity is the main factor to keep efficiency of gut function. Small change in gut integrity will result decrease performance in general. Undoablefarming management becomes very challenging for commercially aquatic species to grow. This worse because the environment especially water and climate change due to global warming and pollution. And the result they can't perform as well as their genetic potential.

Raw material quality already became very far away from ideal situation for feed formulation. Fish meal has historically been the protein source of choice in aquatic feeds, but global supplies have reached a plateau making it less available and more expensive. As a consequence, the use of cheaper proteins made from processed plant proteins, byproducts from agriculture, fisheries or the slaughtering of terrestrial production animals has popularized within the aquaculture feed industry. Although these alternate ingredients may contain a crude protein (CP) content comparable to fish meal, they may be less digestible and deficient in one or more of the ten essential amino acids (EAA). This has required the adoption of more modern formulation approaches which take into account nutrient availability, especially in regards to EAA. And supplementation with effective source which high digestible, absorb effectively in the GIT become very important to maintain the nutrients balance in the feed and also inside the animal.
