Description:

Reporting to the department chair, the Assistant Professor of Aquaculture will demonstrate excellence in teaching, an ability to initiate and maintain a productive, externally funded research program involving undergraduate students, a commitment to mentoring and advising a diverse student body, service responsibilities, and earned doctorate degree. Teaching duties will include introductory courses that are commensurate with the applicant’s experience and interests and the opportunity to develop upper-division biology electives in their area of expertise. It is expected that the successful candidate’s research will utilize the College’s SARC facilities on campus. The position is an academic 9-month, tenure-track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience
