Thus, the objective of this study was to apply the production technology developed between 2011 and 2014 for eight marine finfish species to the Pacific white snook, in an attempt to obtain good results quickly. Broodstock Husbandry and Spawning Induction In 2013, Pacific white snook broodstock (Fig. 2) ranging in size from 0.9-5 kg were captured off the coast of Sinaloa state, Mexico. Fish were held for three years in three cylindrical 50-m3 tanks (Fig. 1) under natural temperature and photoperiod conditions with a flow-through water system (four tank volumes per day) and strong aeration. Tanks were located in a pilot hatchery at CIAD-Unity Mazatlan (23° 18’ 0.6” N, 106° 28’ 57.2” W), Sinaloa, Mexico.
