The World Aquaculture Society (WAS) Student Group is excited to announce the very first Student Thinkathon, taking place during the Student Forum.

This new interactive workshop brings together students from around the world to tackle real industry challenges presented by leading aquaculture companies, including Adisseo and INVE Aquaculture. Working in teams, participants will brainstorm creative, practical solutions and pitch their ideas live to a jury of experts for a chance to win a cash prize.

The Thinkathon is a great opportunity to:

• Collaborate with peers from different backgrounds,
• Connect directly with industry professionals,
• Strengthen your problem-solving and communication skills, and
• Gain visibility within the global aquaculture community.

No prior experience is required - just your ideas, motivation, and passion for aquaculture innovation!
