Qualifications:

Ph.D. from an accredited institution in an area applicable to fish ecology. Ability to teach advanced courses, such as Fish Ecology. Demonstrated peer-reviewed publication record. Potential to develop a funded research program. Ability to serve as an advisor to undergraduate and graduate students. Preferred Qualifications Previous university-level teaching experience. Research specialty is open and should complement those of current faculty.

Description:

Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Biology. Develop an externally funded research program. Direct thesis research of M.S. and/or Ph.D. level graduate students. Essential Functions Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Biology, including General Ecology, Ichthyology, Fish Ecology, and other advanced fisheries courses. Develop an externally funded research program. Serve as advisor to undergraduate and graduate students. Direct thesis research of M.S. and/or Ph.D. level graduate students. Provide service to the university.
