I’ve been experiencing something similar and I just want to say—you’re not alone. I also hear clear footsteps on the roof and I know it’s not some auditory illusion or my mind playing tricks on me. The sound is too distinct, too consistent, and happens in a way that feels very real. I’ve tried to rationalize it, but it doesn’t match any normal explanation I can think of. It’s honestly unsettling, especially when you know what you’re hearing is real.
