Seeking Academic Support for an Exam

I’m getting ready for an exam soon, and I want help with how I study. Have any of you worked with a tutor, joined a study group, or used other approved options that really made a difference? I also saw the idea of pay someone to take my exam, and it worries me. What other options are there that are fair, allowed, and safe?
