This is my first time traveling to Portugal alone, and I’m planning my route from the airport. My flight arrives fairly late, around 11:00 p.m. I’d like to know in advance the actual cost of the trip to the city center and how long it will take. Could you please advise me on the most convenient and economical mode of transportation for a late-night trip to the Baixa district?

Also, I’m concerned about how to transport my luggage, since I’ll be carrying a large suitcase with equipment and a heavy backpack. Getting around with that much stuff and making several transfers will be extremely difficult. I know there’s a metro in Lisbon, but I’m not sure how convenient it is to use with large bags. I’m also worried about the safety of my belongings on public transportation at night. If I take an Uber right from the terminal, will it be significantly more expensive than the metro or bus?
