Crab production is done with the modular system.  The production start  from larvae day 8.  Larvae were then transferred to a pond  measuring 500 m2 with a height water of  60 -70 cm media that has been prepared.   Pond preparation is done with the stages of drying and pest control and fertilization to grow plankton in the ponds. The density of larvae in ponds spread of 2,500 pcs / m3 (2.5 pcs / L).  The first week was given Artemia nauplii at a density of 20 N / larvae / day. After larval zoea be Crablet given trash fish feed, twice a day (morning and evening) as much as 200-300 g / 1000 Crab / day (> 200% weight biomass). In the first 10 days of maintenance trash fish given smoothed by means of milled using a milling machine and the subsequent maintenance of trash fish given cut into small pieces.

Maintenance results obtained mean value of the survival rate of larvae on the D-8 amounted to 59.44% ± 12.8% and the average survival rate crablet in the pond for 29 days of maintenance by 5.9% ± 2.8%. Carapace width 14,00 mm ± 0,95 mm and a weight of 1,50 g / tail ± 0,05 g / tail.
