Green Catfish (Hemibragus Nemurus) including native fish Indonesia. When compared with other fish such as tilapia, catfish, etc, fulfilling the market demand for fish Green Catfish  rely more on the arrest of nature. Green Catfish  fish growth compared to seed other freshwater fish farming tends to be slower, it is necessary for both of feed technology and container cultivation to increase fish growth Green Catfish. .


One technology to increase growth hormone is by the use of recombinant proteins. rGh protein to accelerate the growth of the fish has been done in the sub-tropical in several different species of fish. Giving rGh on rainbow trout can increase growth by 50% compared to control fish (Sekine et al. 1985). Giving rGh band different in tilapia through injection or injection technique successfully increased weighting of 20.94% (rGH giant grouper fish); 18.09% (rGh)  carp); 16.99% (rGH carp) (Lesmana,2010).
From the results of experiments that have been conducted for 5 weeks maintenance of visible seed Green Catfish  untreated initial length is 3.78 ± 0:08 cm after a 5-week long maintenance end 6.66 ± 1:12 cm, soaking treatment (dipping) 12 mg / kg feed initial length 3,492 ± 12:46 after 5 weeks long maintenance end of 7:24 ± 0.8 cm, Seed treatment Green Catfish  by administering via the feed as much as 30 mg / kg feed initial length is 3.3 ± 0:18 cm to 7.6 ± 0.87 cm and treatment through immersion 12 ml / l followed by the feed of 30 mg / kg initial length 3:35 ± 0:31 after a 5-week long maintenance end of 7.65 ± 0.68 cm. Giving rGH on fish seed Green Catfish  can increase the growth of 14.86% compared to the seeds without giving rGH.
