Bacterial disease is one of the factor inhibiting the increase in production which caused the mortality of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), such as Aeromonas hydrophila and Streptococcus agalactiae. This has resulted in significant losses, because in addition to lower production due to the death of fish also lowers the quality of fishery products. Vaccination cocktail, a combination of both types of antigen is expected to be one of the alternatives prevention of MAS disease and Streptococcosis on tilapia more prospective.

In order to utilize the type of vaccines in the community and some technical information about the location of aquaculture based on ecological zones which covers the cultivation environment on the plateau (temperature is relatively low), the medium and low (temperature relatively warm) and to identify potential multi-location and efficacy of this vaccine cocktail. Therefore, this research aimed to multi-location test the application of cocktails vaccine A. hydrophila - S. agalactiae for disease prevention of motile aeromonads septicemia and streptococcosis on tilapia. Research activities carried out is to field trial and challenge test as well as some testing in the laboratory.

The results showed that the use of vaccine cocktails can improve survival and biomass tilapia. While the antibody titre measurement results show that there is a significant increase in tilapia vaccinated group compared to controls.
