Egg Production Innovation in Nilem Fish  Osteochilus hasselti  by Hormones Induced and enrichment of nutrients

Nilem fish (Osteochilus hasselti) is a fish endemic (native) Indonesia who live in the rivers and swamps. This cultivan have a biological advantage, especially during the final phase vitelogenesis (gonadal maturation period) which is capable of producing a large enough portion of the egg. This activity is done to accelerate the maturation of the gonads after spawning and stimulate egg production optimization. The nilem used is after spawning  with range of weights between 150-200 g. The total number of 60 tails which divided in 4 population. Each population consist of 15 tails are subject to a different diet formulations. subjected to population 1. Formulation diet consists Vit. C 1200 mg / kg (feed) + Vit. E 150 mg / kg + r - GH 2 mg / kg + oodev 0.5 ml / kg (biomass). Diet formulation to population 2. Vit. C 1200 mg/kg (feed) + Vit. E 150 mg/kg + corn oi 5,20 mg / kg + oodev 0,5 ml/kg (biomass).  Diet formulation to population 3. Vit. C 1200 mg/kg (feed) + Vit. E 150 mg/kg + fish oil 30 mg/ kg + oodev 0,5 ml/kg (biomass).  Population control is only given feed containing 30% protein and fat ≥ 6%. The highest specific growth rate and gonad reached by the population of fish in the diet formulation 1 in the amount of 0.027% / day and 25.5 g gonad per 177.5 g body weight or egg edible portion of about approximately 14.3% within 42 days. The egg diameter achieved the fish populations in diet formulation 3 that is 1.62 mm.  While the highest survival rate achieved with the same value on fish populations diet formulations 1, 3 and control that is 46.6% and the lowest in diet formulation fish populations 2.
