The Performance Of The Seed Koi Carp F1 MHC

Koi carp is a species of freshwater aquarium fish which is developed in Indonesia.  Current development of koi fish in a Community fish farmers Indonesia rapidly. Koi fish is a fish that has a kinship or one family with a goldfish, which included fish that are susceptible to attacks by Koi Herves Virus (KHV). Considering this impact against KHV attacks decline in production of ornamental fish, it is possible also the onset of attacks of KHV in Koi fish.   So need to make prevention efforts to support the provision of seeds and the parent who has a superior resistance to disease especially KHV. In respect of such matters by 2013 started Parent koi fish selection-based MHC alleles as genes it resistance to disease and has produced a candidate holding a positive characteristic of F0 MHC. To support breeding koi fish breeding program produced a generation of F1 that is the seed of the Koi fish with superior character growth and resistance to disease, particularly the KHV. This information is generated from the activities of prospective parent Koi F1 MHC can provide information and an increase in the percentage of positive F1 seeds are unidentified MHC of 18.18% or higher than in F0 MHC namely of 13.33%.  The survival rate (SR) seed F1 Kohaku on a test challenge against KHV seed Koi F1 MHC reach of 64.44%, but the value of SR it could be higher to achieve 80% if the seeds do vaccinations KHV.  The resistancy  rate Koi of  KHV (Koi herpes virus) on Koi fish are vaccinated MHC F1 is also relatively higher than control or the MHC in non vaccinated KHV reach of 72.32% and whereas the lowest occurred on SR SEED koi non vaccinated without MHC i.e. of 35.56%

Ikan Koi merupakan spesies ikan hias air tawar yang cukup berkembang di Indonesia.  Saat ini pengembangan ikan koi di masyarakat pembudidaya ikan Indonesia cukup pesat. Ikan koi merupakan ikan yang memiliki kekerabatan atau satu family dengan ikan mas, yang termasuk ikan yang rentan terhadap serangan Koi Herves Virus (KHV). Mengingat serangan KHV ini berdampak terhadap penurunan produksi ikan hias,  hal ini dimungkinkan juga terjadinya serangan KHV pada ikan hias Koi.   Sehingga perlu melakukan upaya pencegahan untuk mendukung penyediaan benih dan induk unggul  yang memiliki ketahanan terhadap penyakit khususnya KHV.  Sehubungan hal tersebut  Tahun 2013 mulai dilakukan seleksi Induk ikan hias koi berbasis alel MHC sebagai gen penyandi ketahanan terhadap penyakit dan telah dihasilkan calon induk F0 yang berkarakter positip MHC.  Untuk mendukung breeding program pemuliaan ikan koi  dihasilkan generasi F1 yaitu benih ikan Koi unggul dengan karakter pertumbuhan dan ketahanan terhadap penyakit, khususnya KHV. Dari kegiatan ini dihasilkan informasi calon induk Koi F1 MHC dapat  memberikan informasi adanya peningkatan persentase benih F1 yang teridentifikasi positif MHC sebesar 18,18 %  atau lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada tetuanya (F0 MHC) yaitu sebesar 13,33 %. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) benih F1 Kohaku pada uji tantang terhadap KHV benih Koi F1 MHC mencapai sebesar 64,44 %, namun nilai SR ini bisa lebih tinggi hingga mencapai 80 %  jika benih tersebut dilakukan vaksinasi KHV. Daya tahan terhadap  KHV (Koi herpes virus ) pada ikan Koi F1 MHC  yang divaksin  juga relative lebih tinggi dibanding kontrolnya atau non MHC yang divaksin KHV mencapai sebesar 72,32% dan sedangkan SR terendah terjadi pada benih koi non MHC yang tanpa divaksin yaitu sebesar 35,56 %
