Survival rate (SR) who still lower were obtained in the maintenance of rabbit fish larvae cause needed improvements in maintenance techniques. This activity aims to improve the survival rate of larvae. While the goal may be material information in developing rabbit fish larvae rearing technique. This activity is carried out for 3 (three) periods (cycles) with concrete tank measuring 2.18 x 1.56 x 1 m3 (effective volume 3 tons) in indoor or 3 (three) pieces (Basin A; Basin B; and Basin C). The activities carried out in this engineering is to extend the periode of illumination on larvae rearing tanks. Older lighting done on larvae rearing basin is 11 hours (control); 15 hours (Basin B); and 24 hours (Basin C). Larvae stocking density of 50,000 tail / basin are stocked in each bath larvae rearing. Measurement of survival rate (SR) is calculated at the time the larvae was 5 days (D5) visually;  at the age of 15 days (D15) visually; and when the 30-day-old larvae (D30) by counting the number of juveniles produced directly on each tub maintenance. The survival rate (SR) on average were obtained at the time D5 is Basin A (10%); Basin B (40%); and Basin C (25%). The survival rate (SR) on average were obtained when the D15 is Basin A (0%); Basin B (25%); and Basin C (10%). While the survival rate (SR) on average were obtained when the D30 is Basin A (0%); Basin B (3%) and Basin C (1.5%). Results of water quality measurements still the normal range to support maintenance rabbit fish larvae activities.
