Hamka, Marwan, Jumriadi and Haruna

Engineering activity is intended to determine the effectiveness of minagrow use are mixed into feed to improve the growth rate and survival of rabbit fish seeds. For uses are as an information in the maintenance rabbit fish seed to can be applied in society. This activity is carried on fiber round tank indoor volume of 500 L tranparent to four treatments. The engineering activities are carried out in this activity is the tank A (artificial feed minagrow + 2 ppm); tank B (artificial feed minagrow + 3 ppm); tank C  (artificial feed + minagrow 4 ppm); and tank D (artificial feed / control). Dose feed for all treatments are the same in the amount of 3-5% / BB. This activity is done by 3 cycles with a stocking density of 50 tail / tank with an average weight of 1.00 g and an average length of 3.4 cm. The results obtained for the growth activities of the absolute weight is tank A (3.42 ± 0.15 g); tank B (3.16 ± 0.36 g); tank C (3.16 ± 0.25 g); and tank D (2.66 ± 0.27 g). While for the specific growth rate is tank A (2.10%); tank B (1.73%); tank C (1.82%); and tank D (1.39%). The survival rate (SR) were obtained in all treatments was 100%. The results of water quality measurements still in normal range to support maintenance activities rabbit fish seed.
