To overcome the scarcity and  quality  degradation  of shrimp broodstock, Directorate General of  Aquaculture  has designated BBPBAP Jepara as National Shrimp Broodstock Center (NSBC) since 2003. Begun in 2005,  this institution has produced broodstock  F-6 through individual selection in 2012. Within 2013-2014 has produced F-7  through family selection. The results obtained in this 7th generation  decreased heterozigsity and reproductive performance. To overcome this case, has been conducted outbreeding introgression between the F-7 with Aceh natural parent, and Jepara, to improve reproduvtive performance. The results were F-8IA, and F-8IJ. The F-8IJ female were crossed with sires from Pangandaran   with ratio 1 : 1, in 2015. 17 of  94  females ablated (18%)  was spawning.  The average number of eggs, hatching rate and survival rate of PL12 were  451.294 eggs/individu,73% and 15%, respectively.
