The use of model is aimed to describe the dynamic of water condition partally and temporally, because the model is a prototype of the actual condition of nature. One of the software to make a simulation is Mike 21. This software is used to model current, tides, and waves of water surface. The location of study is water around Experiment shrimp Farm of Research Institute for Coastal Aquaculture (RICA), Punaga, Takalar, South Celebes Province. Bathymetry of the study site was measured based on 348 sampling point an then mapped by ARCGIS 10.1. The tide was collected from tidal forecasting from department of hydrology and oceanography. Data of bathymetri and tide were analys by Mike 21 to provide model of current. Area of Simulation is cathegoryzed as open water, that has mixed semi diurnal tide. The model result, that the current in modelling area of Punaga is tidal current, where water mass flows to North at tide, and conversely water mass flows to South. The model show water velocity in the range at 0.01 m/s to 0.26 m/s.
