THE STATUS OF WATER QUALITY ENVIRONMENT  OF BIRINGKASSI IN PANGKEP DISTRICT AND ITS ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Waters biringkassi have an important role for the surrounding community. These waters support the activities of economy so important to keep the quality of these waters. Research is aimed to know the status of the quality of the environment in Biringkassi waters and strategies its management. The observation is made in september (dry season) and february (rainy season) to your station research 7 the station. A method of research to the environment waters quality use physical parameters (temperature, ph the speed of the current and the texture of basic), chemical, (DO. BOD, COD) and biologist (composition and density makrozoobentos) with each three times deut every station. Using methods interview its management strategy and the awarding of a questionnaire. Analysis of data to the environmental pollution, uses index the index of ecology to strategy and management training (strength, use analysis as well weakness, opportunity and threat). An research result of the environmental pollution show index 4.5472-9.6054 so this shows the status of the environment be in a state tainted light to moderate (table 1). Ecology makrozoobentos index showing composition and to scatter type who dominated of a kind of Cerithidae cingulata a class of Gastropoda (table 2). Management strategy that is produced is to increase knowledge of a community waters,  concerning the impact of pollution lower domestic waste and embankment entering waters and increase the number of herbs mangrove.
