This study aimed to clarify some morphometric parameters of longfin yellowtail pre and post larvae (Seriola rivoliana Valenciennes, 1883). Broodstock were obtained from the nature and GnRHa hormone application was carried out.

As a result of the study, reproduction were realized at 22.6 to 23.9 ºC in July and September period. At seventeen successful spawns, totally 6.455.480 eggs, with 99.49±0.28% fertilization and 65.38±9.96% hatching rate were achieved. Hatching duration was between 44 and 48 hpf. The average length of newly hatched larvae 2.721±0.10 mm, diameter of oil droplet was 0.336±0.02 mm, yolk sac height was 0,723±0.02 and yolk sac length was 1,080±0.04.
