Flavobacterium is a cause of disease in farmed fish gill loss. Flavobacterium vaccine is one solution to the problems caused gill disease Flavobacterium columnare. This study aimed to test the vaccine application multilocation of Flavobacterium columnare which were prepared by formalin-killed granted to soak method and applied to catfish (Clarias batrachus) and carp (Cyprinus carpio).

The research were done in 6 ponds on 12 metres at Citayam and Cijeruk, Bogor Regency. The fish that used in that research is 100 gram in weight and 10-12 centimetres length. Every pond is contain 150 fish. The fish is vaccinated by immersion method with 0,3 ml vaccine in  10 litres water during 30 minutes. As control is fish without vaccination. Booster is doing 2 weeks after first vaccination. Challenge test is doing with active bacteria. Data were collected for survival and clinical symptoms appear.

The results obtained showed that the Flavobacterium vaccine with immersion method in catfish able to increase by 26% SR. Without a booster vaccination SR has the highest average at 95%. While there is no SR increase between treatments on carp. So that the Flavobacterium vaccine is more effective on catfish than carp.
