The provision of manufactured fish feed is often considered as a constraint in addition to the high cost factor and availablity of the feed quality which not necessarily correspond with the required nutritional needs. On the other hand, feed quality (nutritional value) with the proper feeding strategy/program can prevent/minimize the risk of disease. Monitoring the use of feed used in the farming process can contribute to the improvement of the quality and quantity of aquaculture products. Monitoring was carried directly and periodically, while feed samples analysis conducted in BBPBAT Sukabumi Laboratory with the test procedures in accordance with SNI feed proximate analysis. Monitoring results obtained from 40 brands of commercial feed which comes from fish farmers in six districts (Bogor, Purwakarta, Bandung, Subang, Sukabumi and municipality of Sukabumi), comprised of 33 brands of feed (82%) that have been registered and 7 brands of feed (18%) in the process of filing registered. From the chemical test, commercial feeds were grouped per commodity have compatibility with SNI of 60-100%, the same result for compatibility with label grouped by feed manufacturers. In addition, 30% of feed samples were not suitable with the use in farming process. Based on the analysis of the consistency of quality commercial feed taken from 2-3 brands of feed, feed production of A are more consistent than other companies with deviation ranged from 0.18 to 1.60 (inconsistencies contained in the ash and water parameters for A1 floating pellet). The inconsistency is based on the value of deviation (> 1) for each producer,  feed production of B (protein and fiber in B1), C (protein, ash and fiber on C1 and C2), and D (46% in almost all parameters). The constraints in this monitoring are the preference of commercial feed used by fish farmers in each different area so that data consistency was done in several brands of feed only and difficulty in knowing the amount of feed used at farmers in the production process (Feed Conversion Ratio).
