The Aquaculture America Conference Steering Committee recognizes that researchers and students like to wait until the last possible deadline to submit abstracts so that papers will include the latest data and results. However, these late submissions often create challenges for session assignment and conference organization.
This year the Conference Steering Committee would like to try something new. Submit a final or “placeholder” abstract by the August 25th deadline – this will allow the Program Committee to start processing and accepting papers and organize presenters into sessions. Submitters will then be given an opportunity to update abstracts until December 31, 2016. Updated abstracts may be emailed as an attachment to email@example.com and this updated version will appear in the USB Conference Abstract Book.
*ATTENTION STUDENTS* Students interested in participating in the USAS sponsored travel awards and other USAS corporate sponsored awards MUST be a WAS/USAS member and submit their final abstract for judging by the August 25th, 2016 deadline to be eligible for awards.
